Dear Elders and Sisters,
The time for our summer reunion is drawing near. It will be the 13th of August, commencing at 5:30 pm until 9:30 pm. The place is the Aspen Grove Family Camp Pavilion, just a block beyond our home. The Parking areas at the family camp will be open for parking.
We have a few suggestions for those coming to the reunion.
- Each family should bring a picnic lunch for their family. We will provide a desert for all.
- In order to help everyone identify families, it might be well to have family name tags. Sister Clyde has suggested using the same tag for each member of the family, i.e., apple, orange, car, flower, train, etc. with their name on the card. It will take a bit of effort but it will help everyone to know who belongs to whom.
- Since it might be cool, come prepared with a sweater or light wrap for each family member.
- There is a children’s play area next to the pavilion. For adults, it might be a good idea to organize volleyball. Nets are already in place. Does anyone have a volleyball they can bring? A pioneer village is at one end of the field. If children go there to explore, a parent should accompany them.
- There are restrooms next to the pavilion, which will be open. They are an integral part of the swimming pool, but the pool will not be available for use - just the rest rooms.
- Parents, be responsible for your children.
It will be great to see all who can come.
Pres. & Sister Clyde
