There is no miracle like the miracle of conversion. It is the great process by which those with responsive hearts listen to the teachings and testimonies of missionaries and change their lives, leaving the past behind them, and moving forward into a new life. There is no miracle quite like it in all the world.

- President Gordon B. Hinkley, Stand A Little Taller, 2001

Dear Missionaries,

Below is a link to the notes I took the other night at the Aspen Grove Fireside, at which Elder Neal A. Maxwell spoke on the subject of Mentoring. I hope you can gain as much from the notes as we did at the fireside.

We trust that you are all getting on well, in spite of the heat of the summer. Everyone will be glad when it cools down even a little bit.

Thomas Hood came by to see us on his whirlwind tour. It was fun to see him and visit for a little while.

Otherwise, we are doing well. Wednesday, we are going with our family for 11 days in Hawaii. Only one will miss it, Elder Andrew Smith, now serving in Slovenia.

With our love and appreciation,

Pres. and Sis. Clyde
