If we go to sacrament meeting every week and reflect as we partake of the sacrament on the meaning of the prayers, if we will listen to the language of those prayers, which were given by revelation, and live by them, we will be a better people, each of us will be. That is the importance of sacrament meeting.

This site is great. I have been married 5 years to Jessica and we have a 20 month old son, Jordan. We live in Casper, WY and I work for Weatherford Drilling. We are hoping to move to Ogden, UT in the near future. I have a sister who lives in North Ogden and we love visiting her there and we would love to live there. It would be nice to live near some of my old comps and friends from the great SEM days. It's been a long time since I have seen any of you.

Hi everybody! long time since I was here on this site. Fiona and George had another little girl - Leigha Hutchison on, wait for it....Kady's second birthday...so both girls share 1st June as their birthday, so it will be fun and games in one month's time. Kirkcaldy has all been updated on Google Earth and you can now pick out Winifred Crescent and the chapel - plus a few of the members homes (so far Glenrothes has still to catch up!). As of 26th of this month I should have some of my Preston Temple photos on Google Earth, along with other photos of here there and everywhere! If anyone wants to get in touch, please do...at sheenaannbrown@hotmail.com, or with the ward at clikmag@googlemail.com (I'm the editor!) Take care and love to all!

I just wanted to thank everyone that came to the reunion. There wasn't enough time to do all of the catching up that I wanted to, but I guess that's a life dilema. I can't believe I have known the SEMers for 10 years...I am glad that we are able to stay in touch (even if it's every 6 months). Take care all.

Hey all you RMs in foreign distant lands, the Shonk time in Germany is about to come to a close. But like the saying goes ?All good things must come to an end?. Obviously that author wasn?t LDS. Howdy everyone! I was doing a virtual flyby over scotland in google earth, just being a little nostalgic. It's been 10 years since I left to go over there and I couldn't find one chapel that I used to go to. Did they tear down the old Springboig chapel?? Anyway hope all is well with everyone, less than a year left in Vegas and then back to Zion (St. George) for us, we're excited. Take care.

How goes it everyone? Had a great reunion at the Clydes a few weeks ago. It's always great seeing everybody. It's wierd to think how long we've all been back now. My wee son Justin McEwan is having his annual Halloween party next week. Hope to see some of you there. If anybody is looking for Danny Bryson, check out www.thepowerless.com That's his band and their website. You can download a lot of their music for free on the website, or you can download from Itunes for the good quality stuff. Check them out in concert if you get a chance, they're bloomin good!

I know jelousy is a sin, but who said anything about being perfect? I am so so sad I missed the reunion in Preston, and hope it becomes a regular event(besides being Fish 'n' Chip starved here in the States, I yearn for some of that good ole' fashion dry humour) . Elissa Nebeker and I have a chance to meet in D.C as she is here with her hubbie, and at times like these I am pulled away from my daily routine of running Ishmael to preschool and feeding Soraya her prunes (don't ask), back to the Scottish missionary days of yore. I miss Jessica London, where on earth are you hiding? What a blessing to have had President and Sister Clyde as our parents for a while.

We had an amazing experience at the reunion recently held at Preston. A great thanks goes to James Edwards for organising such a special event. An even greater thanks for President and Sister Clyde being able to attend. It was an absolute pleasure to see and hear from them again. The weekend was one of closeness and spiritual renewal as we all traced our great memories back to our service in The Lords Army in Scotland. Its interesting to note how our times in Scotland still (and will always) play a huge part in our lives. We didn't just serve a mission we served an SEM mission! "We noble few!"

Just had a British SEM reunion as the Clydes were able to come here!! Absolutely amazing! The spirit was fantastic. Lots of RM's attended, John Deacon, James Edwards, Peter Mulligan, James Brooks, Mike Rudd, Stephen Barnett, James Joyce, Catherine (formerly) Moss, Nathan Liddicott and several others (sorry I didn't list everyone). The activities over the day and a half were excellent, from fireside, church historical tour around Preston, a temple session and an awesome tesitmony meeting. It brought back so many great memories and filled my heart with the spirit and desire of the great SEM. For all those who I served around it made me think of you and wished we had all stayed in better contact. The church is true and I can trace so much good in my life back to 2 years spent in Scotland serving around great missionaries and the wonderful scottish people!!

It is great to see some photies and hear from fellow SEM RM's. The little Gardner clan is doing great. I enjoy getting on the site and reading the messages. I hope everyone that can is planning on coming to the reunion Friday, March 31. It is great to see people and think back on our missions. We are hoping to have a few people speak (very briefly) about what is going on in their life and share one favorite missionary experience. If you want to volunteer, please contact me at qgardner@advancedretire.com or if you cannot make it to the reunion, send me an email and I will read it to everyone. We would love to hear from you and we love to hear what is going on in your life. You can contact me or President Clyde. But we really hope you can make it to the reunion because you're just not cool if you don't go to your mission reunion. Contact me if you have any questions. Cheerio.... PS...
